Heart Beets Garden: 2019 Recap!

Our second summer of Heart Beets Community Garden did not disappoint! Our vision of creating community and providing gardening education expanded this summer, as we again had kids involved from Nebraska Christian, 4-H and added in visits from SOAR campers.

Like last year, our 10 volunteer gardeners shared produced among themselves, and we are especially proud to have made around 40 deliveries of fresh veggies to the Hamilton Country Food Pantry!

So many people from Hamilton County worked together to make this past season a success! Thank you to everyone who was involved! Thank you especially to our volunteer gardeners and to our partner Memorial Community Health, who generously lets us utilize their land and provides abundant support!

Registration for our 2020 gardening season will open at noon on February 15th! Please, don’t delay because the past 2 years our spots have filled within hours!
